This game looks like ass, to be honest. It just doesn't look like anything special. Looks like a 360 game with slightly more available ram.

PS4 runs significantly cooler than the PS3 so I highly doubt it's overheating. The software is probably being weird because it's pre alpha or beta.
No, it means I'd hate for people to lose out on that money when the system is no longer supported by MS because they realized they released a shortsighted console and have to release another way sooner than they anticipated. Especially when it's $100 more expensive for a 50% less powerful machine.
God, I hope so. For two reasons:
1. I just don't like to see people wasting money.
2. I don't like to see a company be rewarded for trying to kill the industry with those anti-consumer policies.
